Where Emotions are concerned, we need to experience them fully, completely, unreservedly.
Contrary to the messages in our culture about some emotions being unacceptable, hurtful to others and otherwise nasty, our salvation is in the safely expressing them, whatever they might be.
The healing is in the expression of the feeling !
The deep wounds that we have buried over the years, need to be brought to the surface so that we can express our hurt, forgive those involved and move on to become the person we have always aspired to be. There is no choice here – if we don’t resolve these issues they will surface regardless, in the form of arthritis, cancer or destructive behaviour. Depressing the feelings causes Stress and Stress is the number one killer
